Gear Operated Ball Valve

In a geared operated ball valve, a gearbox assembly is mounted on top of the valve stem. Instead of a direct lever, the operator turns a handwheel connected to a gear system. The gears convert multiple rotations of the handwheel into a controlled 90-degree rotation of the ball.
